Arkansas Snow Storm

Another snowy day in Rogers, Arkansas. More snow than we expected today, after receiving a few inches on Tuesday. Most people at work stayed home for safety and because the schools were closed.

Russ and I rode together because we work in the same building at Walmart and he doesn't make money unless he's there and we have a 4X4 Toyota Land Cruiser that is very dependable in this kind of weather, except in exceptionally icy situations.

I took this photo with my Droid X phone using the automatic scene setting. I like the dark blue sky with purple spots through the falling snow.

I know David wishes he could enjoy the snow as he now lives in sunny SoCal where they don't get much of this stuff.

Free Tickets: Arkansas vs. Georgia Basketball

Wow! Free tickets to the Hogs game Wednesday night. Becky got from a nice man Arvest where she works. She was the only one who said she enjoys Arkansas basketball among the other tellers she works with.

The seats were down in the bowl, on the east side behind the basket. A pretty good vantage point. We saw the Hogs offense during the first half and defense in the second.

Sadly, the Hogs lost by 1 point, a free throw with 1.4 seconds left!
